Westair Medical Rescue Africa (PTY) Ltd. t/a Medical Rescue Africa operates as a company within the Westair Group of Companies. The Company was established with the mission of providing specialized critical care and ICU aeromedical evacuation services. The company is registered as an Advanced Life Support Road Ambulance and Air Ambulance service provider with the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS), Namibian Association of Medical Aids Funds (NAMAF), holds the Flight Safety Foundation (FSF), Basic Aviation Risk Standard (BARS) Gold Status and International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) standards compliant.​

​Westair Aviation has more than 25 years of experience in providing aeromedical response services across the African continent to a wide range of medical insurance and assistance companies, embassies, mining and resource companies and humanitarian organizations. The current headquarters is based in Windhoek consisting of a state-of-the-art 24/7 Emergency Response Centre, fully equipped Intensive Care Road Ambulances, Advanced Life Support (ALS) Rapid Response Vehicles and two fully equipped Fixed Wing Air Ambulance aircraft based at Eros Airport. The Rotor Wing Aircraft providing HEMS & SAR support to Offshore operations is based at Lüderitz Airport. We have remote aeromedical bases in Senegal & Mozambique as well supporting Client in the respective regions. We have operations in Walvis Bay, Oranjemund and Lüderitz supporting the local community, Oil & Gas Companies and Mining operations (Onshore & Offshore). The operations consist of an Intensive Care Road Ambulance and ALS Rapid Response Vehicle with Aeromedical support from Windhoek.
