Westair Medical Rescue Africa (PTY) Ltd. t/a Medical Rescue Africa operates as a company within the Westair Group of Companies. The Company was established in May 2020 with the mission of providing specialized medical and aeromedical primary response services. The company is registered as an Advanced Life Support Road Ambulance and Air Ambulance service provider with the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS), Namibian Association of Medical Aids Funds (NAMAF), holds the Flight Safety Foundation (FSF), Basic Aviation Risk Standard (BARS) Gold Status and International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) standards compliant.

Westair Aviation has more than 25 years of experience in providing aeromedical response services across the African continent to a wide range of medical insurance and assistance companies, embassies, mining and resource companies and humanitarian organizations. The current operation in Windhoek consists of a state-of-the-art 24 hours per day, 7 days per week Emergency Response Centre, a fully equipped Intensive Care Road Ambulance, Advanced Life Support (ALS) Rapid Response Vehicle and two fully equipped Fixed Wing Air Ambulance and Rotor Wing aircraft based at Eros Airport. We have two full operations in Oranjemund and Lüderitz supporting the local community, Oil & Gas Companies and Mining operations (Onshore & Offshore). The two operations consist of an Intensive Care Road Ambulance and ALS Rapid Response Vehicle with Aeromedical support from Windhoek.
