
THE MRA FLEET
MRA has a wide-range of Air Ambulance aircraft that can offer evacuation options for all conditions in Namibia and Africa. All aircraft are equipped with an approved ‘Med-Pac’ system and are manned by the experienced and well-trained crews of Westair Aviation. All flight operations are conducted in accordance with strict quality and safety standards and comply with the Basic Aviation Risk Standard (BARS), Oil and Gas Producer Standards (IOGP) and United Nations Aviation Standards (UNAVS).
BEECHCRAFT KING AIR B350ER
The Beechcraft King Air B350ER is a proven aeromedical platform. It can accommodate two Med-Pac systems and has over 2000 nm range. It is a pressurized twin turbine aircraft that offers a stable and comfortable working environment for aeromedical staff. The aircraft is well equipped to conduct flights safely in the most severe weather and operating conditions.

BEECHCRAFT 1900D
The Beechcraft 1900D has the ability to carry two LifePort systems and 8 seated passengers. This aircraft offers a stable working platform and is ideal for mass-casualty extraction.

CESSNA CONQUEST C425
The Cessna C425 is the primary standby aircraft for aeromedical services in Namibia. It is proven to be an efficient and cost-effective platform that can operate into and out of most unimproved airstrips in Namibia. The aircraft has been operational in service of aeromedical activities since 2008 and has conducted more than 9 000 medical flying hours during this period.

CESSNA CARAVAN C208B
The Cessna Caravan is a versatile single-turbine engine aircraft. It has the ability to carry two Med-Pac systems and is utilized should flights be conducted into short unimproved ‘bush’ airstrips.

BOMBARDIER LEARJET 45
The Learjet 45 is a mid-range aeromedical platform having the performance and endurance to provide these extended flights at speed. It can accommodate a single Med-Pac systems in a full ICU configuration with four passenger seats available. It is a pressurised, high performance twin jet engine aircraft that offers a stable and comfortable working environment for aeromedical evacuations.

LEONARDO AW139/189 MEDEVAC/SEARCH & RESCUE HELICOPTERS
The AW139/189 are twin turbine engine medium size helicopters with a seating capacity of 15 to 18 pax. These helicopter platforms are utilized across the world in Medevac and Rescue environments both on-shore and off-shore operations. The helicopter is generally single stretcher configuration with full ICU & Critical Care equipment in medevac operations. The AW139 has permanent winching capabilities and the ability to provide Medevac & SAR missions day & night in most weather conditions.
